From the Inimitable Mark Shea

For readers who’ve never checked out Mark Shea, he’s got a great piece in the National Catholic Register right now that goes to the heart of two of the biggest obstacles folks on the road to Rome encounter:  (1) feeling overwhelmed by unfamiliar Catholic spiritual practices; and (2) “all those bad Catholics.”

As Mark would say, “Check thou it out!!”

And (if we’re not back before Thursday), Happy Thanksgiving!!!  (Which, if you’re wondering, was NOT first celebrated in America by those Calvinists in Plymouth but by Catholics in Saint Augustine, Florida.)
